I might use it if free from side effects, but it's hard to be sure of that until many years out. On the other hand, it could be a burden to remember all the teensy details of life.

Nothing in ObamaCare assigns you a doctor. You can choose a limited network plan if you want, just as you can now, but you're not forced to do so, and if you do you can choose your doctor from the plan's network.

GPS devices are becoming part of our culture. I find that people act like I'm a little out of touch if I want them to give me directions to an event, just like they would have long done if I said I didn't have a cell phone. Thus, like other technology, they make functioning in society easier.

They should put out the fire and charge him the cost of doing it (more than just the $75). Future service should be part of the tax base.

JW -- I hope your life works out for you based on your demands. Maybe it will. But some women with a strong family history of breast cancer get it themselves, and others want to do what they can to prevent it.

It is impossible to judge whether it helped her or not without more facts. But if there was cancer or pre-cancer that caused her doctors to recommend that surgery, it may well have helped as she lived another 19 years after her surgery.

In 1980, we belonged to a staff model HMO in Boston. It was fully staffed for deliveries at all hours of day, night or weekend and did not do C-sections lightly.
